Our company is experiencing tremendous growth across all of our practice areas! In support of future work, we are reviewing resumes for the position of Engineering Technician IV. This is a contingent position supporting a major DoD program - actual employment will be dictated by contract award. Candidates meeting the minimum requirements will be contacted by a member of our recruiting team. 

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Constructing components, subunits, or simple models or adapts standard equipment; may troubleshoot and correct malfunctions
    • Following specific layout and scientific diagrams to construct and package simple devices and subunits of equipment.
    • Conducting various tests or experiments which may require minor modifications in test setups or procedures as well as subjective judgments in measurement, selecting, preparing, and operating standard test equipment and records test data
    • Extracting and compiling a variety of engineering data from field notes, manuals, lab reports, etc., processing data, identifying errors or inconsistencies, selecting methods of data presentation
    • Assisting in design modification by compiling data related to design, specifications, and materials that are pertinent to specific items of equipment or component parts; developing information concerning previous operational failures and modifications, and using judgment and initiative to recognize inconsistencies or gaps in data and seek sources to clarify information

    Education and Experience Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of in an industry trade school or civilian college in electronics required
    • 6 years of recent C4ISR or other relevant experience in manufacturing, repairing, design, modifications, builds, installation, testing, analyzing and interpreting documents, schematics and drawings, and recommending corrective actions with regard to C4ISR equipment
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Military Electronic Standards 
    • Ability to effectively communicate with Electronic Engineers and other team members to gain information and recommendations
    • Completion of an appropriate military “A" school and completion of at least one appropriate military “B" or "C" school may be substituted for the two year requirement; Associate’s or higher in EE, CE, CS, TM, IS, IRM, IT or Physics

    • This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.
