    ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We have an opportunity for an Special Security Representative. The Special Security Representative (SSR) serve as the authoritative source on all matters relative to multiple security disciplines and issue guidance in the evaluation and analysis of security needs under DODM 5105.21 series. The SSR coordinates and monitors sensitive aspects of the Government agencies' security programs, ensuring compliance with Government security policies and procedures in support of the Government Special Security Officer.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Implements and monitors Government TS/SCI Special security policies and procedures; ensures compliance with all aspects of the security program
    • Protects classified Government information and monitors TS/SCI personnel security clearance and processes. Provides follow-up clearance status on processed clearances to manager for specific contracts
    • Maintains a working relationship with each contract's security office for processing and maintaining employee clearances/accesses
    • Provides support for all security functions in accordance with the NISPOM, DCIDs, ICDs and other applicable Government security directives associated with SCI and other special security programs
    • Serves as an authoritative source on all matters relative to multiple security disciplines and issue guidance in the evaluation and analysis of security needs
    • Develops security education and training awareness and conduct initial and on-going security training and education briefings
    • Provides derivative classifiers guidance on marking of SCI material and provide SCI classification reviews
    • Maintains a working relationship with all Government agencies while building/managing SCIFs as well as filing necessary clearance paperwork för employees, candidates, and consultants
    • Conducts SCIF self-inspections in preparation för security audits. Supports all SCI information and related facilities. Assists Site Security Managers, as necessary, when the Government is the SCIF sponsor
    • Uses JPAS and other access sites, to track and maintain clearances. Maintains SCIF visitor control functions and prepares visit authorization letters (VARs)
    • Monitors the Navy SSO portal for new updates to policy. Updates security templates to reflect policy updates
    • Executes security administrative procedures for new employee security briefings, exit interviews, and debriefings
    • Investigates and completes SCI inquires on security incidents providing reports to the Government special security officer
    • Maintains all security documentation and files in accordance with Government requirements
    • Assists in the conduct of security surveys, inspections, and compliance reviews IAW applicable laws, regulations, Presidential Directives, EOS, interagency directives and policies at the appropriate classification level
    • Safeguards government property 

    Education and Experience Requirements

    • Bachelors’ Degree
    • 4 years of relevant work experience supporting U.S. Government programs
    • Allowable Substitution: An additional two years of relevant experience and an Associate’s degree or an additional four years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma/GED can be substituted for the education requirement

    Security Clearance

    • This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
