The candidate must have an intimate knowledge of radar sensors and trackers of surveillance, fighter and weapon systems. Provide analytical support and expertise on the evaluation of an Integrated Fire Control (IFC) kill chain. Provide analytical support and expertise in areas that would improve IFC kill chain performance knowing the limitations of each of the platforms. Provide analytical support and expertise in the evaluation of engagement effectiveness. The candidate must be able to assess data link interoperability, network performance, and information exchange. Be able to assess data link interoperability when updates to any of the platforms are released and direct any deficiencies to the platform or platforms that caused the problem.
Provide analytic support and expertise to the design and development of test objectives, and flight geometries. Have an understanding of the limitations of each platform in the chain so that test objectives can be optimized given the operational envelope. Provide analytic support and expertise in the deficiency report process when deficiencies are identified during lab and flight test. Provide quick look analysis during all test activities to provide input to stakeholders for additional analysis at specific times reducing the time to resolve deficiencies and improve overall mission success. Design and develop Advanced Link 16 Networks to improve operational effectiveness across the entire chain, ensuring designs are operationally relevant and consistent with mission requirements.
(Provide analytical support and expertise in the development of advanced data links in support of new IFC capability through the Interface Change Proposal (ICP) process. Provide analytical support and expertise in the development of sequence diagrams to show interoperability using advanced data links. The candidate must have a working knowledge of both Command and Control and Fighter Platforms. A working knowledge of Link 16 data messages used to communicate Fighter-Fighter and Surveillance to Fighter is also required.
Significant (~50%) travel is required for this position.
Required Experience and Skills:
Education: Bachelors of Science Degree, Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university. Experience cannot be substituted for education.
(U) Experience: Candidate must have 10 or more years of experience in the areas detailed below.
Desired Experience and Skills:
Masters of Science is preferred.
The candidate should possess a knowledge of: Tactical Targeting Network Technology (TTNT); Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD); MIL-STD-3011 and Satellite Communications Networks.
Candidate should be proficient in all Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
Candidate should have experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained and complex security environment.
