    ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We have an opportunity for a Financial Analyst to support current and future needs of our team located in Lexington Park, MD.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will support the customer in providing a full range of financial analysis services to ensure program success.

    • Perform technical and financial functions for programs with a focus in the areas of budget planning, budget execution, funds reconciliation, procurement, case administration and case closure
    • Analyze financial performance and case performance and provide recommendations for improvements and solutions to problems
    • Prepare weekly updates and annual budget submittals.  Work closely with the lead Business Financial Manager (BFM) to create the annual budget plan
    • Track execution of budget plans, including obligations and expenditures through final billing
    • Provide financial interest information to support draft program documents, including acquisition plans, procurement requests, statements of work, air tasks and task orders
    • Issue, track and reconcile purchase orders for equipment and supplies
    • Conduct technical reviews of contract proposals
    • Support/assist in database management, financial document processing, record keeping, and administrative activities associated with project management

    Education and Experience Requirements

    • Must have TOP SECRET clearance with background investigation within the past five years
    • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, accounting or related field. Relevant experience and coursework/training may be substituted for the degree requirement as follows: Associate’s degree and 2 years’ additional relevant experience/coursework or training applicable to the DoD budgeting processes, or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years’ additional relevant experience/coursework or training applicable to the DoD budgeting processes
    • At least four (4) years financial management experience, two (2) of which must be within DoD, including experience in working with RDT&E funds and other fund types, and supporting the maintenance and/or development of DoD financial reports such as annual reports to Congress, OSD, OPNAV, etc.
    • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis of business programs, development of budget estimates and plans, funds execution, tracking of resources, financial status reporting, trend analysis, and data base applications
    • Experience in program execution and out-year planning to include development and preparation of funding execution documents in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy ERP)
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, to include Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

    Security Clearance

    • This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance based on a current SSBI
