Overview

Delex Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of ZENETEX, is seeking a committed and experienced Program Manager to lead an upcoming program for a government customer in Lexington Park, MD.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will exhibit excellent team leadership, customer care, and fiscal responsibility to ensure program success. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and administer the contracted effort to provide engineering, logistical and program management support to a major weapon system acquisition program office
  • Maintains Profit/Loss responsibility by ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and contractual commitments, terms, and conditions
  • Direct efforts of a cross-competency team to include employees at multiple locations, from one or more subcontractors
  • Oversee Delex and subcontractor personnel program/project operations by developing procedures, planning and directing execution of the technical, program and administrative support effort and monitoring and reporting progress
  • Manage staffing and deployment of program resources throughout program; control financial and administrative aspects of the program/project with respect to contract support requirements
  • Serve as the primary interface and point of contact with government program authorities and representatives on technical and program/project issues
  • Establish and maintain long term customer relationships by facilitating customer satisfaction
  • Ensures all personnel assigned to the program are trained and qualified to perform their assigned tasks.  Counsels subordinate employees to maximize their professional development and to ensure that the collective best interest of the company and individuals are served
  • Providing strong leadership while upholding corporate ethical standards
  • Complies with governing laws and regulations so as to ensure legal, fair, and consistent personnel and contract management

Education and Experience Requirements

  • TOP SECRET clearance with background investigation within the past five years
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, business, management, or equivalent field.  Relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement: Associates degree and 2 years’ additional relevant experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years’ additional relevant experience
  • PMP required; in no current PMP, it must be attained within 1 year of appointment to position
  • Eight (8) years of professional experience in Defense acquisition, three (3) years of which must have been within the past six (6) years in support of Navy Acquisition Program management

Security Clearance

  • This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance based on a current SSBI
