Overview

Delex Systems is seeking a Program Management Analyst to assist in the management and oversight of the technical, administrative, and daily operations of contractor support functions of a U.S. Navy/Air Force aviation weapons acquisitions program. Functional areas of support include acquisition strategy development, project management support, program integration support, system support analysis (life-cycle cost analysis, and program risk assessment support. Work will be performed at a government site Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Senior team member supporting a U.S. Government program office analyzing program level operational requirements and directives, and support the acquisition strategies to meet these requirements, considering the full spectrum of criteria (cost, schedule development/milestones, performance, integration, risk, etc.)

Education and Experience Requirements

 

  • TS/SCI clearance required.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field such as engineering, mathematics or physics or a Business Management degree from an accredited four year university or college combined with operational experience.

  • Minimum of 4 years of business/management development/integration experience with Navy and/or Air Force aircraft, weapons, and/or operations, with 2 of those years occurring within the last five years. Appropriate educational background may be substituted for this experience. 
     
  • Knowledge of DoD systems acquisition requirements, documentation development, financial, and/or technical requirements. Knowledge and capability in planning, management, budgeting, coordinating technical requirements, and contract requirements.

    Special Knowledge: 

  •  Extensive Earned value Management (EVM) knowledge and analysis capability.  2 years of experience preparing project budgets; 2 years of experience in analyzing and preparing acquisition documentation. Experience preparing SOWs for technical and administrative contractor support, Ability to develop metrics, track performance, and develop / assess project risk management plans and actions. 

Security Clearance

This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance.
